Description
The Villa Alte Springs is a contemporary and spacious property, perfect for a relaxing holiday in the Algarve, offering comfort, privacy, and stunning views over the Barlavento hills.
The living room is large and welcoming, integrating the dining area in an open-plan layout that encourages socializing and relaxation, with direct access to the outdoor area, allowing you to enjoy the sun and surrounding scenery.
On the lower floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with two single beds, providing comfort and privacy. On the ground floor, there are two more double bedrooms, both en-suite, and an additional bathroom with a shower, ensuring convenience for all guests.
The kitchen, fully equipped and integrated into the social area, offers a functional and modern space to prepare meals and share special moments with family and friends.
Outside, the villa features a private infinity pool, comfortable outdoor furniture, fruit trees, and a traditional Algarve barbecue, creating the perfect setting for outdoor dining and leisure.
Located near the traditional village of Alte and a short distance from golden sandy beaches such as Salgados, Galé, Lourenço, and São Rafael, Villa Alte Springs combines comfort, privacy, and proximity to nature for an unforgettable Algarve holiday.
The changeover day for this property is Thursday (however, there may be flexibility in low season).
If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and do not match the property's changeover day, please send us an inquiry before booking to confirm if your dates can be accommodated.
This property is self-catered. For your convenience, welcome food baskets can be booked in advance (additional cost).
Renting a car is not essential for your stay, given the property’s location. However, if you wish, we will be happy to assist with the car rental. We can also arrange transfers if needed.
Group deposit: € 150 per guest (payment by credit/debit card).
Please note that the occupancy for this property is 8 guests
From the 9th to the 10th guest, an additional fee will be charged, which includes additional beds.
In accordance with current legislation, tourist taxes may apply.
A booking, insurance and archiving fee of 2.9% will be applied to the total amount of all payments: booking amounts (deposit and final balance), security deposit, transfer, extras and excursions. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, including for the security deposit.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Alte Springs. The house is spacious, beautifully designed, and very well equipped, but what we loved most was the peaceful location. Surrounded by hills and nature, it felt like a true escape from the busy tourist areas of the Algarve. The infinity pool with countryside views was stunning, and the outdoor spaces were perfect for relaxing in the quiet atmosphere. If you are looking for a calm retreat in the Algarve while still being close enough to explore the beaches and villages, this villa is ideal.

Truly beautiful villa in the middle of the Algarve countryside. The villa is very clean and the outside space is outstanding. The villa is extremely safe and secure and the kids had loads of room to play. We had a fantastic week here. The staff were very helpful and gave us loads of ideas for things to do. The bedrooms all have heating for the chilly nights and the villa is very well equipped. We had a fantastic week in the Algarve.

Had an excellent week. The property is very spacious and is perfect for a family group or group of friends with an en-suite bathroom for each bedroom. The property is very private, with beautiful views. We preferred to be away from the main tourist locations and it is only about 30 mins to the coast or larger towns. The pool and outside area were excellent for relaxing and eating al fresco. The kitchen is adequate for holiday style catering. The property managers - Algarve Vacation were excellent both pre and during the holiday: very efficient and communication with them was always responded to and dealt with promptly. The villa representatives/staff were very helpful and friendly and we found the villa very clean and well prepared. The Alte region is hilly with great views of orange groves and rural villages in the hills. Driving in the area was easy with little traffic on the roads. This was our first trip to Portugal but would be very happy to return and to stay here again!
